Churches

Inspecting Architect
Under the Inspection of Churches Measure, 1955, I am the Inspecting Architect for the following Anglican churches:

Christ Church, Crouch End (by Blomfield, 1862, listed grade II)
A church in a lovely setting, on one of north London's few hills. Built of Kentish ragstone, with a tall and attractive spire.

St Mark, Marylebone (by Blomfield 1870)
A small but attractive church, originally built as a chapel-of-ease.
A tall red-brick tower is an welcome piece of design on a rather bleak stretch of road.

St Mary, Bryanston Square (by Sir Robert Smirke, 1823, listed grade I)
St Mary's was built as one of the 'Commissioners Churches', intended by Parliament to cater for the needs of the rapidly-growing population following the end of the Napoleonic wars. It is a brick building, with a stone portico and tower.

Methodist Church
I have prepared several quinquennial reports, for both churches and manses

Other church projects
St Paul's Rossmore Road.
St Martin's, Gospel Oak
