Highgate, N London: Conservation & Refurbishment of Coach House This building is a coach house, which is listed grade II, which was built in the early-19th century. It adjoins the house, which is probably 18th century with numerous additions. The house is situated in secluded gardens which give a rural atmosphere seemingly far removed from the location in north London. The coach house is a relatively simple structure which was in a near-derelict condition. The local authority consents required most of the existing materials and features to be retained.
 The brief was to provide a dwelling for the client's relative, having particular regard to the needs of a frail elderly person.Photos
